I just got a PC Transporter from a friend (because it was supposedly
broken). I found out that the RGB ColorSwitch adaptor wasn't working
right, but the card itself works fine in my GS. Here are my questions:
1) Does anybody know what is the pin layout of the RGB video connector
on the board (J6) so I can make my own cable to attach it to a CGA-compatible
monitor (I just happen to have one lying around)? I'm guessing the
PCT RGB video is still ok since I can use the composite output off the
ColorSwitch adaptor without a problem.
2) I have a NEC keyboard (made around 1991) with a PS/2 style connector.
Can this keyboard work (with the right adaptor) to the J5 connector on
the PCT board?
3) I also have a PC 3.5 and a PC 5.25 drive lying around. Does anybody
know if they can be attached to the PCT so I can keep my Apple drives
attached for my IIgs applications and if so, how? (These two PC drives
are high density, but I understand from the manual that the PCT only
works with low density drives.)
My goal is to put this in my //e so I don't have to swap slot 2 with
my modem and the PCT (slots 7-5 are full :) on my GS. Thanks for any help.
Geoff
