820k files sounds very suspiciously like files created with the
Macintosh DiskCopy program (an image of the disk, with header
information).  They aren't compressed at all.

If so, whoever uploaded them wasn't thinking too clearly.  I know of
three methods to recreate the disk:

1. Use the full DiskCopy program on the Macintosh.

2. There is A freeware DiskCopy extractor which runs on the IIgs.

3. The "Replicator" program from EGO Systems (publishers of GS+
Magazine) can extract DiskCopy images.


I may be wrong about this - I haven't seen the files in question.
