Trinitron Monitor

I inherited an old II+ with a very nice Sony Trinitron color monitor that
connects to the II+ with a DIN connector at a slot-7 card. The card has two
cables terminating in 16-pin connectors that replace two ics on the mother
board.

Now for the silly question - is there some simple way to go from what I said
above to a guess as to whether this monitor can be easily connected to a
IIe, and if so, and the guess is yes, how?
