I'm honestly tired of hearing this about TextEdit based WPs, such as
WordWorksPro or ShadowWrite. The TextEdit limitations don't allow
similar programs, or the ones I just mentioned, to really take the place
of AWGS v1.1 (bad as it is), or WordPerfect (not so great either).

Because I have not seen EGOed v2.0, let me ask - does it support multiple
rulers (such as being able to right justify on paragraph and not
another)? Does it allow superscripts and subscripts? What about getting
around any other limitations of TextEdit that I missed?

As great as the TextEdit based programs are, these limitations of the
toolset make any such program that works within TextEdit's boundaries
unsuitable for use as a main word processor, such as AWGS or WP, in my
opinion.

P.S. Anyone have any rumors on wether or not the next system upgrade was
to have a newer, better TextEdit? :)
