Printing POSTSCRIPT files to DISK under Sys 6.0.1

Does anyone out there know how I can send a compiled
Postsript output to disk to I can print it out elswhere?

I'd like to print the postscript file to disk, then convert
it to IBM format and then send it to the printer from 
and IBM machine at work.

Interesting this is listed as a "new" feature in the docs
for system 6.0.1 but there is no info on how to do it.

I tried installing the laserwriter drivers etc using the
installer, but they are unhappy that I do  not have
appletalk enabled and I can not call up the Cdev for
network printer.

I'm sure there is a soultion but I can't think of
anything else to try at this point.
