G'day All....
I'm trying to track down a package for the Apple //gs called "VidClip
Videotape Control Toolkit for the Apple IIgs Developer".
This package was available from APDA as product number T0360LL/A. It is
listed in January 1991 APDAlog on page 82.
"The VidClip toolkit contains everything needed for the Apple //gs developer
to write multimedia applications that control Sony consumer videotape
players."
VidClip was developed by Mark Abbate, now of Abbate Video Productions. (508)
376 3712. abbate.video@applelink.com
Unfortunately for the Apple //gs community, this package is no longer
available. I contacted the company in September 1993 and they were not
interested in helping me trace a copy.
I have a Sony SLV-757 video recorder which has a Control-L 5-pin mini-din
remote-cotrol jack and I have a cable which connects it to my Apple //gs
serial port (thanks to the Mediamaker application for the Macintosh).
I would like to be able to control my video recorder using my Apple //gs.
All I need now is the software.
If anyone has VidClip, could you please, please, please contact me?
Thank you in advance.
