Doh! My mistake. Easy Open 1.5 thru 1.55 was unstable for a while
in any configuration, but that was a StfFile error. It's Matt
Ackeret's OpenIt (Too many extras with easy, open, and all in their
names to keep track of, especially when working on lots of things at
once) that has appeared to be unstable from System.Setup, but has been
rock-solid from FinderExtras.
If you don't know what OpenIt is, it's basically a mini command
line for the Finder, allowing you to type in a path, and either open
up a directory or program. Neat. If only it could subcontract out the
tab directory expansions of GNO, and all the other fun stuff, we'd
could put some functionality into the finder for once :)
