Apple IIC+ and Applie Engineering Ram Card?

I've come across a good condition Apple IIC+ and would like to know if an
Applied Engineering Z-RAM Ultra 2 will work in it.  I've absolutely *NO* idea
if it will, and was hoping someone would be able to tell me.

Also, I noticed underneath the keyboard (inside) on the left hand side of the
motherboard, that there is a five or six pin connector marked "MODEM".  Does
this mean that there was an internal modem made for this model?
