Help with Prodos/applesoft references!

Hi I am interested in finding out what reference sources would be the best to
get for identifying subroutines stored at $d000-$dfff in prodos on an appleIIe.
I belives this is the location of applesoft, but I am not sure.  I have a book
on apple prodos, but it does not detail this memory section.  I have nothing   .
else.  I want to begin assembly programming using the prodos MLI, but I
still need more resources to get started.  Any suggestions would be appreciatat.
