The only method I know of of if you want 5.25" disks is to hook up a PC
Transporter board to the ][e and a pc transporter 5.25" disk drive. You
can then transfer files, etc. If you are using a 3.5" disk you just need
the board and a regular apple 3.5" drive or you can just use a mac for
transfering between prodos and ms-dos. Hope this helps,

btw, the pc transporter board used to be made by Applied Engineering but
they have now gone out of business.
