The keycaps in the IIe keyboard can be pryed off (upwards) and you can
then drop or spray cleaning fluid.  I restored two keys at different 
imes this way.

The IIc keyboard will be ruined if you try to clean it ---- different keyswitch
technology.   Do not try to clean the IIc keys.  IIe full-travel keys can
be cleaned --- in my experience.
