I don't kow if you can help me but here goes anyway?

I have a IIgs that seems to have logic board troubles at least that is what
one repair shop says.

My machine will run a number of games such as Chess Master 2000, Sea
Strike, programs such as paintworks?, Writers Choice Elite for the IIgs,
copy IIplus, and a number of other programs but will not run appleworks of
any version that I have tried. I have tried several including one I had
been using on an apple//e but in one way or another they all seem to lockup
when booting.

The apple//2e program will boot until it gets to the current date prompt
check and then all i get is beeps when I try to continue.

The other version I have for the IIgs will preload the program to Ram(I
have a 1 meg ram expansion card) appear to be ok then when you go to use
the program it will only take you to certain menu items for example to
selected files or rather it will select all file on the disk and only allow
me to bring up a certain one and once it is on the screen it will not let
me do any thing more but more BEEP, BEEPS.
Then it is reset time once again and back to a game of Chess or Miners Cave
or piccadilly pairs, or Guillotine all of which have no problem working on
my wacked out IIgs.

I have run the internal system check and it come up System Good.
Also I have tried to run the trouble programs without the expansion board
and still they will not run but the programs do work as I have tried them
on a friends system.

Any suggestions or HELP would be greatly appreciated as I am ready to toss
that machine.
