Bear in mind that some programs show compression as percent *reduced*, while others
show it as percent *of original size*.  So taking a file from 100K to 90K could
either be displayed as 10% (reduced by 10%) or 90% (90% of original size).  I
believe that ShrinkIt and most PC archivers use opposite conventions.

The compression algorithms used by PKZIP, LHA, and other related archivers are
considerably better than ShrinkIt's 12 bit LZW.
