It would help if we had dates or part numbers here. My 1 MB IIgs came
from Australia, and says "ROM Version 3" on the bottom line. It
shouts "Apple Two" when you hit Ctrl-Apple-Option-N on the system
failure screen.
The ROMs are labelled "341-0748" and "341-0737", both copyright 1989.
The Ensoniq is "343-0051-A" copyright 1986 Apple.
If this revised ROM 3 does exist, then I don't have it.
Does _anyone_ have a IIgs which says "ROM Version 03" on the bottom
line (with the zero)?

If that was the case, then it would be released in December 1990 or
later.
