Well that sucks.  I'm in Cincinnati and I called Makin Assoc.
here in Cincinnati and they referred me to New Horizons and
Pioneer in Cleveland.  In turn I had to call up about three other
phone numbers and still no offer to sell me the chip.  They had
a minimum order of $250 and New Horizons would only sell to OEMs.

I'll have to call Makin again on Tuesday and see if I can request
a sample chip.

BTW, I got e-mail from someone who said their DTMF chip had the
following numbers on it:  dac0808l cn  and  mc1408p8.  Do these
sound like valid replacement parts for the 75T201?  Maybe these
other chips might be easier to get a hold of.
