RAMFast Problems....

Hello all.

I've recently encountered some trouble with my Floptical drive. It
has not been working properly on my GS for a few days now. At first I
thought it was the floptical drive itself, but I brought it to school
with me one day and hooked it up to a Mac and it worked fine, so now
I think that it is probably my RAMFast having the trouble. The only
thing about that theory is that my 80MB ProDrive has been having no
trouble at all.
What the floptical does/does not do is this...when I stick a disk in it
it tries to read it but can't and starts making this clicking noise every
few seconds as if trying to read it but can't...It doesn't matter what
kind of disk, I've tried a 21mb, a ProDos 1.44m, and a HFS 1.44m. All with
the same result. When the drive has no disk in it it sits there as if
all is well, the ramfast card sees it and the light on the front blinks
every few seconds as it always has. Every now and then it WILL read a
disk, but it is not that reliable at the moment.

I have two error messages that have popped up so far.

The following one appeared when I had a HD HFS disk in my floptical and
was trying to copy some files from it to my hard drive:
	System Error $006A
GS/OS Error ($006A): Generic FST Error.

This next one happed right after when I went into the RAMFast Utils:
	RAMFast MLI Error
	Command 00-04 80
	Status 20
With a bunch of gibberish all over the screen.

I have a RAMFast 256k v3.00l. If anyone has any Ideas on this matter
please reply via e-mail.

Craig.
