Although HCGS is now "free", the commercial services (such as Genie) still
make money from downloaders due to connect time charges. While I can't
attribute any proof, I suspect there is a tacit agreement between these
services and Apple Inc that precludes _free_ access to HCGS (and other such
wares) until the commercial interests have had their opportunity to profit.
I say this, not in criticism, but because it makes good business sense.
It also follows the pattern of the release of GSOS 6.0. I suspect HCGS will
make its way to ftp.apple.com, but probably not for another few months.
