A new game review for the GS!

Well, after all this little flamewar about a game that just showed up
on comp.binaries.apple2, I decided to download it anyhow and test it
out. Hmmm. My first reaction on seeing 'Wiggle' was "TML Pascal, 320
mode". I've seen enough things programmed in TML Pascal that have
given it something of a 'lame' reputation....

I'm afraid I wasn't too far off from my initial reaction. It seems
that 'Wiggle' is a lot like the old 'Tron' or 'Snake in a Maze'
games... you have to maneuver this snake around without running into
your previous paths. What makes it more annoying than previous
versions is that it's the mouse that controls it, and it only seems to
go diagonally. On my Zip 9/32 system, the thing seems to move pretty
quickly (didn't try slowing down), and the mouse controls can be
exceedingly sensitive, so it's far too easy to do a quick '180' or
'270' into your path.

In all, if you like to make patterns on the screen with really fine
movements of the mouse, and that's it, this game is for you. On the
other hand, is this really worth it downloading over a slow connection?
No sound, no music, block graphics... Hmmm. Maybe.

To the author: sorry if this appears harsh or anything; your swift,
harsh, decisive reaction to one person telling you to post a
description probably means that I'll get some flames from you. But, I
have a rather cosy asbestos suit, and some U.S. Court (either a judge
in N.Y. or the Supreme Court) recently decided that 'harsh reviews
aren't libel.' With some improvements, this could probably be cool.
But, as stands, it could definitely use some work.
