MultiScribe 3.0 on a IIe

I have good old "MultiScribe" v. 3.0, which runs flawlessly on
both my GS and IIcs, but when I attempt to run it on a IIE,
it simply sends various unrecognizable characters on the screen.

Does anybody have the solution somewhere?
