You probably want STM 0.851, available from cassandra.ucr.edu,
in directory /pub/apple2.  Download it in binary mode, and just
use MacBinary when transferring it from the Unix host to your Mac.

Broderbund had a 10 year contract with many of those authors, which
lapsed in the case of LodeRunner if my information is correct.
The authors do hold the copyright, and are NOT releasing the program
into the public domain.

Some Apple II software has been released for free distribution,
but the authors retain the copyright, by the GEnie "Lost Classics"
project.  So far, all I know about is software by Paul Lutus and
Bill Budge (not including Pinball Construction Set but it does
include his best-selling Raster Blaster.)
