Thanks for the input on SCSI devices.  I do plan on upgrading
my computer to a IIgs when the prices become a little more
reasonable.  ; )
 
However, I need to know if it is possible to use old IBM SCSI
drives on a ][.  Will there be formatting problems? What kind
of cables will I need?  Do I need a terminator, too?
 
 
 : I am considering puchasing a drive from HI-TECH
 : COMPONENT DISTRIBUTERS INC. which advertises in
 : _COMPUTER SHOPPER_.  They are advertising an 80MB 19ms
 : 2.5" 1/3HT. SCSI QUANTUM 6080S and a 100MB 20ms 3.5"
 : 1/2HT. SCSI NEC D3856.  Will these drives work with a
 : //e?  What software would you recommend?
 
I qoute myself--it adds spice to my E-mail.  Seriously, I am a
complete novice when it comes to // hardware.  I have Kindall's
_Apple II ENHANCEMENT Guide_, but that's it.  I want to do this
right but on a shoe-string budget.
