ZipGS 12MHz on ROM 01?

I've got a broken ZipGS 9/32.  I would like to upgrade it to 12 MHz,
but when I was talking to Zip Tech Support today they mentioned that
anything over 10MHz was too susceptible to noise on ROM 01 machines
(which I have).

I am interested in getting the fastest upgrade I can given a long-term
_stable_ platform.  Therefore:

	What is the longest anyone has had their 12MHz Zip running
	(with either ROM) without getting a lot of "flakiness"?

	Has anyone used 12MHz on a ROM 01 over an extended period?
	Do you have random crashes or other problems likely to have
	been caused by noise?

	Has anyone other than Soenke experienced problems with the
	12 MHz, 64k cache?

	Has anyone noticed a significant performance increase in
	going from 32k to 64k cache?
