PR#0 is a very unreliable way to turn off the 80 col card.
If there is any DOS installed, you normally will just close out
any printers or modems, leaving the 80col unaffected.  I know this
works this way on the //c, and *thought* it was how the IIgs worked
as well.  CHR$( 21) works on any 80 col card, all the way back to the
first ones on the ][+.
