After my initial post, my harddrive is acting incredibly strange..
After loading a program and working in it for over ten minutes,
I "lose" the volumes on my harddrive..

ie. I will be working in Appleworks, and then attempt to quit back
to the finder, and I will get an error message to insert "Boot"
(my start-up volume). This error occurs in every program I use
for any length of time, Appleworks GS, GWIII, Spectrum, etc..

Is this a drive related problem, or could it be the SCSI card, or
possibly a memory error??

I have one of those LRO drives which operate off of the power of the
diskport, and my GS is pretty loaded down, could it be simply a
power problem?
