Imagewriter I help needed

I have come across an ImageWriter I with a dedecated serial board for
it.  Neither Bank Street Writer or AppleWorks will print from the IIe
to the printer, it accepts no commands.  There is a DIP switch block
on the card, does anyone know what the settings should be?  I thought
it was a Apple Serial card or Super Serial, but it doesn't have
any short connector, it just has a cable coming right from the card
(it's about 2' long) to the printer.
