Need info on Fax modems

Hi there

As Tony Morton mentioned a few weeks back, I am currently working
on some fax software for the IIGS. I've got some interface going
at the moment, and I've written the encoder and decoder for the
huffman encoded fax data, but I have no actual idea what I have
to send the modem, or what the modem actually sends me when I
am receiving a fax. What I want to know are all the extras I
have to send (or get back from) to the modem to send a fax (ie
headers, trailers, etc). If someone can tell me what I have to
do (or where I should look), any help would be greatly appreciated.
