Flight Simulators for the GS

I know there were no flight simulators released for the GS (though
there are rumours of beta versions), BUT why couldn't we just adapt
the 8 bit simulators to our GS, so that we can run them at full speed.

Running a //e flight-sim at, say, 8MHz would just be a matter of
changing the "time constant" of the flight simulator so that it runs
slower. We could even set the time constant so that it matches the CPU
speed at lauch time! The only difficulty here is to find where this
time constant is located in the code. Then we would have old 280x192
graphics but full speed.

Here is a non-exhaustive list of interesting 8 bits flight simulators:
Flight Simulator II (sublogic)
The Jet (sublogic)
Chuck Yeager's flight trainer
Solo flight
F15 strike eagle

Would anybody be able to look for the time constant of FS II for
example? Or maybe somebody already did it.
