     Don't buy  the StyleWriter II -- it won't work for straight text-dumps
which is about all you can do with the IIc (i.e. it has no built-in fonts
that work with the IIc).
     I'm also not sure about the new DeskWriter 520, but from what I under-
stand it only has TrueType fonts, so again it probably won't work with the
IIc.  You're better off looking for an old DeskJet (that's "Jet") 500.

     IMHO, Hewlett Packard made a horrible mistake by removing the serial
connection on the new DeskJet 520 and 560 models.
