We've had this discussion several times... as I recall, the argument against
it was that 8-bit stuff applies to the IIgs, and some stuff of interest
to 8-bit users would be missed when people post it on the IIgs group.

At any rate, the traffic in this newsgroup (flame wars aside) isn't large
enough to warrant a separate newsgroup, especially now that we have
subgroups for gno, programming issues, etc.
