     I recently purchased a USR DS and I'm having minor problems with the initialization string. In ProTerm and in ANSI TERM 2.0. ProTerm alll of the sudden decided it would initialize my modem after a couple of days of trying... but there atre still problems upon connection. So, I decide to f**k it abd delete the init strings and use atb0, and that's it. hasn't failed me yet, but I wonder if the modem is set up right with only the b0 and nothing else... any help would be appreciated, including any good in


it strings. Thanks.
