My point was that I think people would feel more sympathy for Matt if it had
been a girl.  Remember, we are talking about a teenager, not a little kid.
What he allegedly did was illegal and foolish.  But remember, in some states
it is legal to marry a 14-year-old (with parental consent), or was until
quite recently.  14 is not 8 or 9.
