How to put Grady Ward in a kill file

Actually, I'm laughing my ass off at this point. You've managed to convince
hundreds, if not thousands of people that you're a complete idiot.

Anyway. Here's how to set up a kill file in "rn". I'm not sure how other
newsreaders do it.

While reading the group, hit Ctrl-K. This edits the kill file.

Now, add a line that looks like this:

/Grady Ward/h:j

This says that, for every article with "Grady Ward" somewhere in the header,
"junk" the article. From then on, every time you go to read the group,
it will automatically delete all messages he wrote. If you hit "h" while
reading an article, it will give you a list of other modifiers you can use.

The best part is, if your news system is configured correctly, it will
also delete all of the cross-posted articles. Some news readers have
a global kill file, in which case you can delete ALL of his postings in
ALL groups.

I strongly encourage everyone to do this, so that we can go back to
talking about the Apple II, and Grady Ward can go back to wherever it
was he came from. (Gee, I guess I'm being an evil Nazi censor again.
But, hey, I'm a white male, I'm *expected* to oppress people. :-) )

BTW - I'm not going to subject the world at large to the e-mail conversations
that preceeded all this noise, but if anybody actually cares, drop me a line
and I'll send them along. As I've done each time, the "Followup-To" line
has been set to "poster" to encourage people to send responses to me instead
of to the various grous.
