The biggest advantage Linux has is it's available for free. You may
spend $50 on a second hard drive, but you can try it and see if you like
it without commiting to it. iMac doesn't have that advantage.
It's still hard to beat putting a disk in the drive and turning the
machine on for ease of use. (Obligitory Apple II reference.)
