I think I"m guilty!

  Videx made a board that replaced the encoder board on an Apple II
plus keyboard that had the 9 pin connector on it.  The strip was used
to program macros on the enhancer.  I think it was also called the
Enhancer II.

Yes, I just bought one on eBay.  It makes no mention of the button strip.

  The Apple encoder sometimes has a 9 pin connector, not sure how you
used that for programming.  Been too long too.

Somewhere there must be docs for this. I'll keep digging!
