Question regarding RamFAST support

In late August, 1992, I purchased a Shadow drive and a rev. D RamFAST card
from TMS Peripherals.  Recently, my GS has been acting up.  It's difficult
to turn on and have it boot up right away.  Many times it freezes on the
ROM 01 screen, and I have to turn it on then off again, as ctrl-apple-reset
doesn't do anything.  Other times I get a fatal error with a sliding apple, and
other times a crash into the monitor and a RamFast initialization error.

It seems that if I turn the drive on and then the computer on in a set time, no
sooner and no later, that it will work.

Looking for the problem, I opened up my GS and noticed that (I know very little
of electronics) and orange component on the left side of my RamFAST card had
a crack in it.  I don't know if heat caused this or what.

What do I do?  TMS and CV Tech are out of business.  I hear that Sequential
is now selling RamFAST boards, but they probably don't support CV Tech's
Limited Lifetime Warranty.  Once again, What do I do?
