This isn't neccessary. sciibin & Co. are skipping all lines until a 
"FiLeStArTfIlEsTaRt..." is found

You don't do anything wrong. It just seems that the binscii'ed files got
corrupted. Try downloading them again (in binary mode). If unpacking fails 
again you should contact the person who uploaded the files and tell her/him
about your problem. Maybe the files weren't uploaded properly.
