ROM 3 and the Octoram

I know there was some discussion of the ROM 3 a week ago, but a user at my user
group seems to thimk that the ROM 3 will work with an Octoram with 7 Megs 
instead of the usual 8.  Can anyone confirm this?  Seems to me the jumper 
setting send out the usable address space which doesn't correspond to Simms on
the card.
