"He's" typically means "he IS", not "he was" or "he has"..  The first sentence
establishes the time frame to be the present ("He IS not doing a great service
ANYMORE.").  That immediately disproves your statement.  Also, "I don't SEE"
is present tense as well, not past ("I didn't see" or "I saw").
