For a null modem cable between my 2 GS's, I have been using a
GS to ImageWriter II printer cable.

I have two of these cables, one an original Apple product (circa 1986) and
one recently purchased from All Tech (sp?) Electronics. Both are wired the
same and have the following 8 connections:

  TX-  to RX-   &  RX-  to TX-
  TX+  to RX+   &  RX+  to TX+
  HSKo to HSKi  &  HSKi to HSKo
  GND to GND
  GPI to GPI

Hope I got the signal names reasonably close (doing this from memory).
