I use to have a problem like that. InCider had published a gave editor
for Wizrdary. It allows one to create a super-powerful character with
all the weapons, but I used it just to re-create the characters I had in
the Proving Grounds.

Alright, I did create one ultra-powerful Ninja. It was fun hitting 10
times for 1000 points and seeing the message "Mangy Dog Dies!". I did
find a bug or two with this guy. I ran across a high level priest and
his sleep spell succeeded(!) The funny thing was that since my guy had
"LO" AC (as in better than -9), the priest and his cohorts *still*
couldn't hit him (did I mention my now-sleeping Ninja was alone?). After
a dozen rounds of my Ninja dodging the enemy fighters in his sleep, I
concluded that this was an infinite loop and went for the reset button...

Anyways, the "wizfix" program is in Applesoft BASIC(!) and it operates
on the character backup disk. If you want, I can send you (or post?)
the text of the program.
