Are there objections from these services for giving back to the folks
who primarily exist on the internet?   I mean, there occasionally appear
things on these services to which I would like to have access, but
would rather get access from the Internet ftp site.  

If this is no problem, then are there folk out there who are downloading
things from these services who would be willing to ftp a copy of
the various games, DAs, etc. (for example sample hypercard gs stacks)
to the ftp sites?
