CDA Text Editor?

Problem:  I need to edit a >45k file while in ProTERM 3.1 and online.

A task switcher would be great.. except ProTERM is an 8-bit prog.  Bah.
How about a CDA editor?  Possible?  Dunno where it'd get its memory, so
I doubt it, but I thought I'd if one exists anyway.

If anyone has any other suggestions, I'd like to hear them, too.
