uploading STARS problem! HELP!

G'day ppl!

Firstly, I apologize for stars being as yet unreleased.... but I have a
_serious_ problem.  It goes like this :-

At university we use IBMs, and as I don't have a superdrive or any other
way of transferring files from GS-IBM or vice versa, I have to ring up
uni with my modem (2400 baud ---erk!) and transfer it on to my file with
a "rz" command, then ftp it to the target site.   However, rz doesn't
seem to work all that well!  After a few minutes of transfer, it
terminates.  My sz does that too, but that isn't so much of a problem as
I can always Zmodem resume.  My rz is well and truly stuffed.  I've
tried everything I can think of, including sending each file of the
stars routine seperately... but it still refuses to accept the files.

I also have no idea on how to send or receive files on
comp.binaries.apple2....... any information on how to do that would be
greatly appreciated....

Any ideas???  I _really_ would like to upload this routine ASAP....
