Haven't done it. You should be able to connect with a term
program on your //c. If you use this method you should be able to set
your linux machine up to read your Apple as a terminal (matching the
termcap to the emulation you chose for the Apple).
Apparently the latest version doesn't like speeds > 9600 on the
lines. You will need a cable with all nine lines connected. I may be
wrong though. My brother made up some cables to connect my terminals to
my linux box and they had less than the nine lines. Try it and see.
Actually the best way to find out is to use a term program on
both machines and set the baud rate to 9600. If the machines communicate
then you should have no trouble with linux.
