inCider's "Top 40 Games of All Time"

Taking inventory of my magazines I came across the Nov'84
issue of inCider which had an article "A Galaxy of Games" listing
the top 40 games of all time and I thought I'd type them up to jog
those memories. =^) I'm just typing up the titles, not the comments
given in the magazine (any comments you see are _mine_, all mine!)

Alien Rain (Tony Suzuki - Broderbund)
Apple Panic (Ben Serki - Broderbund)
Apventure to Atlantis (Robert Clardy - Synergistic)
...for the longest time, I thought that was a typo...

   ...hey, isn't that NBA Jam-boy? =^)
Beneath Apple Manor (Don Worth - Quality)
...always wanted this game... but had to settle for Ultima V...
Castle Wolfenstein (Silas Warner - Muse)
Choplifter (Dan Gorlin - Broderbund)
Close Assault (National Microcomputer Associates - Avalon Hill)
Computer Baseball (Charles Merrow & Jack Avery - SSI)
The Coveted Mirror (Berns & Thompson - Penguin)
Cranston Manor (Harold DeWitz & Ken Williams - Sierra On-Line)
Crossfire (Jay Sullivan - Sierra On-Line)

...I passed that stone ONCE, but didn't have the bowls. =^(
Microsoft Decathlon (Timothy W. Smith - Microsoft Consumer Products)
...probably the only thing I ever liked Microsoft for. =^)
(ok, this and Applesoft BASIC) I'n surprised my "1" and "2"
	keys still work.
Miner 2049er (Hogue and Livesay - MicroLab)
Murder by the Dozen (CBS)
North Atlantic '86 (SSI)
Old Ironsides (Jack Rice & Richard Hefter - Xerox Educational)

Questron (Charles W. Dougherty - SSI)
...loved this game, anyone else discover the Ctrl-C gambling trick?
Pinball Construction Set (Bill Budge - Electronic Arts)
...someone asked about what he did after? Last I read (about
ten years ago =^) after PCS, he wrote Mousepaint for the Apple
//e, and was working on "something big". That's pretty much
the last I remember reading of him.
Sargon III (Dan and Kate Spracklen - Hayden)
Snack Attack (Dan Illowsky - Datamost)
Star Blazer (Tony Suzuki - Broderbund)
Stellar 7 (Damon Slye - Penguin)
Tactical Armour Command (Avalon Hill)

...first time I saw this at my cousin's house, I thought it
seemed pretty crusty...but I soon found myself exploring the
	passages.
Time Zone (Ken & Roberta Williams - Sierra On-Line)
...$99.95! didn't this also come on ten floppies?
Ultima I, II, III (Richard Garriott - (I)California Pacific, (II)Sierra
			On-Line, (III)Origin Systems)
	...the _real_ Ultimas. =^)
The Witness (Infocom)
The Wizard and the Princess (Ken & Roberta Williams - Sierra On-Line)
...could never find that damn rock.
Wizardy I The Proving Grounds,
        II Knight of Diamonds,
III Legacy of Llylgamyn (Greenberg, Woodhead, others, Sir-Tech)
	...Identify item number 9.....
(btw, this issue also includes an interview with Trebor & Werdna)
Zaxxon (John Garcia - Datasoft)
Zork I, II, III (Blanc, Lebling, and others - Infocom)

...I'm surprised Bruce Lee didn't make it on the list, or was
it released too late to be included? (the ad runs in the same issue)

p.s. to the csa2 readers, I'll post my list of magazines for sale
	this weekend.
