Re: MuGS with NNTP

In article <2kepjm$rea@scapa.cs.ualberta.ca>, G. Devin Reade writes...

I have since replied to Devin about the NNTP patches and I have
asked him to upload the complete package to cba2 and the Apple II FTP
sites. My working versions were lost in a strange accident in which my
entire $HOME/bin/ directory was emptied (including the patches Devin had
previously mailed to me). All the systems I use to read news have local
spools, so I did not have a chance to try out the NNTP patch. However,
Devin says it works, so it must work. ;-)

Meanwhile, I'll plug away at a preliminary version of MuGS rewritten
in C which will use your favourite GNO editor/pager and have much faster
response than the MicroEMACS version.
