I have been asked by a school librarian (a non-profit high school) if a
database created on a //e under Appleworks can be converted into an IBM
486 running Access. The data consists of about 50 diskettes which contain
the library catalogue, so it's not really practical to re-key all of the
data. The data is organized simply into only 5 columns of data: the
author, title, dewey decimal number, catalogue number, and box number.
I am familiar with PC's but have no background at all in //e's, so I
would appreciate any help on this that you have. Please post or email;
both I and the school will appreciate your help.
