COMPUTIST
All,
I just talked to the sysop of the COMPUTIST BBS. Unfortunately, he
fumble fingered and wiped his HD today. He does have backup, however,
it will take a couple of days to recover. When he does, the rules are:
If you are validated you can download anything from the BBS.
Initially you will have 2500 blocks. If the sysop notices you
dropping below 500 blocks he will up you. The problem is that Metal
insists on calculating downloads based on uploads. This is not the
present way the sysop runs things.
If your greed is so much that the sysop doesn't notice fast enough,
send feedback and he will upgrade you.
The BBS offers most/all of the disks associated with the various
issues. This will save quite a bit of typing/money by users.
In addition, the board has "all" of the EAMON disks up-to 1988.
Grab 'em and growl EAMON fans!
The COMPUTIST BBS number is: (206) 964-8730
Kind Regards,
