Not trying to start a flame war or anything: how do you figure that a
640x480x256 display is better than, oh let's say, 800x600x65536 or
640x480x16.7 million display? It *might* look better/as good if you are
displaying dithered pictures like GIF (which is limited to 256 anyway,)
but not when you display things like Jpegs.

My feelings exactly, Thye Chean. Had the TurboRez come out last year,
I would not have moved on to the 486 (at least, it would have been less
likely). And now that I've heard Steve Chiang is no longer doing updates
to DreamGrafix (a natural candidate for supporting the TurboRez,) I really
wonder how useful and successful TurboRez will be.

Oh, btw: John C. Dvorak screwed up on his tirade on the Apple II. He wrote
that "Western Digital" developed the 16-bit version of the 6502. BZZZZ!!!
Wrong! As we all know, Western Design Center developed the 65816, not
Western Digital, the hard drive maker. Hmmm, maybe we should all flood his
email box and flame him about that! Tell him to at least have the
intelligence to get his facts straight if he is going to flame something.
