What ROM version is your RAMFast?  To find out (if you don't know how),
set your boot slot to slot 2, and hold down the 0 key when you reboot.
This should bring up the utilities program that is resident in the
RAMFast's ROM.  The latest version I've heard of is 3.01e.  If you don't 
have this version, getting it COULD (MAYBE) fix your problem.  I emphasize 
MAYBE because I don't have a CD-ROM drive, but this sounds like a problem
I've heard of with the RF that the new ROM version will fix.
